At our first meeting, we will discuss the current real estate market, determine your housing criteria, go over financing options, and outline your timeline and what steps you will need to take next in accordance with your needs.
The Search
This is where the fun begins! I will dive in and pull a broad range of listings that are tailored to your specific search criteria. I will contact the listing agent to set appointments and together, we will tour homes that interest you. I will share my opinions about each property and help guide you to the home that best suits your needs.
Obtaining Financing
Most homebuyers need assistance in obtaining a loan. If you don’t already have a lender in mind, I have a network of trusted loan officers that I can recommend for you. Determining the amount you are eligible to borrow is a crucial first step that should be completed before beginning the search for your new home.
Preparing an Offer
What should you be offering to be competitive in a seller’s market? I will perform a comparative market analysis on relevant recently sold properties to give you the best idea of what to expect to offer. We will review seller’s property disclosures, preliminary title reports, and financing options. We will discuss all of the terms of the offer that we negotiate to put you in the strongest position while still protecting your interests.
